Hi, Jenn!
Those colorful
MagicBands have certainly made our lives easier. (That sounds like something John would say in Disney's Carousel of Progress!) As long as you have a credit card on file you can charge all your meals and Disney purchases back to your room account with a quick tap of your MagicBand. Then, stop by your resort's front desk to pay off your balance with your
Disney Gift Cards. I suggest stopping by every few days to pay down your balance and to keep an eye on your account.
Before you leave for your magical vacation to Walt Disney World, make sure you have the latest updates to the
My Disney Experience app. With the latest updates, you can track your charges on the app so you will know exactly where your spending is at all the time - no surprises at check-out. Of course this also means my husband will be able to see my shopping charges, and will know when I splurge on a new
Disney Dooney & Bourke purse! (that's progress for you!)
When arriving at your resort hotel room, put all of your Disney Gift Cards in a safe location so you do not misplace them. You may even want to lock them in your room safe so they are secure and can't get lost in the shuffle. The front desk is available 24/7, so stop by whenever you wish to make those Gift Card payments.
One last reminder: You will need your PIN number to charge back to your room, so make sure your PIN is set and memorized by all charging members in your family. Have a super visit to Walt Disney World!
Cathy
