    We’re dining at California Grill - an early reservation (5pm) as we’ve 2 little ones & will have come from Magic Kingdom. Is there somewhere we could go to ‘freshen up’ before the meal (our hotel is AKL so a bit far). We’re DVC, if that helps?? Thanks

    I'm excited for you that you'll be dining at California Grill, my all-time favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World. I simply love the vibe, the views, and — of course — the amazing and artfully prepared food. You're in for a wonderful Disney dining experience. If you're interested in changing attire before dinner, one idea that comes to mind is to rent a locker at Magic Kingdom to store your change of clothes and any other freshening up items. The California Grill, as you likely know, is located in Disney's Contemporary Resort and is a convenient walk or Monorail ride away. Once at Disney's Contemporary Resort, before you check-in for California Grill on the second floor, you'll find rest rooms available for your convenience. You can also check with your Lobby Concierge at  Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas to see if they have additional suggestions for you.

    Andrew, because you're a Disney Vacation Club Member, I also want to share that the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is well worth a visit. Top of the World Lounge is an exclusive Disney Vacation Club Member perk and a beautiful space to enjoy light bites, cocktails, desserts, and spectacular views. If you have the opportunity to try the Seven Layer Cake, it's absolutely a must-do.
