The BOATHOUSE happens to be my favorite restaurant, so thanks for asking about what's included there on the
Disney Dining Plan. Let's dig in!
As I'm sure you already know, the Disney Dining Plan includes one Resort-Refillable Mug as well as one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal and one snack per night of your stay for each person on your reservation. A Table-Service meal consists of one entree, one dessert and one beverage, which can include alcohol for those over the age of 21. The BOATHOUSE is considered a Signature Dining restaurant and will use two Table-Service credits per person. Now that we have the details out of the way, let's talk about what you can order within the plan.
The good news is that many entrees on
the menu already include a side item as described. In these cases, yes, you'll receive the side item indicated as part of your plan. Please keep in mind that substitutions may not be allowed, although I always encourage you to discuss your preferences with your server. He or she will be able to make recommendations and share what can be accommodated on the plan. You may be aware that The BOATHOUSE is well-known for their delicious steaks, and many steaks don't list a side item as part of the entree. You also may have noticed that there are sides to share listed on the menu as well. These sides generally aren't included in the dining plan, but can be ordered and paid for separately.
Since you'll already be in the area, think about also taking one of the
Vintage Amphicar Tours at The BOATHOUSE. You'll start on land, and your captain will then ease your car into the water for a cruise around the lake before driving you right back out on land again. It's such a unique experience and is a great way to cap off your meal.
