Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Kristina. We're so glad you came by to ask us this question. It sounds like you are planning for your ghoulishly good time at
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. I'm so excited that you were able to secure tickets and I can't wait for you to experience all of the frighteningly fantastic fun.
I like the way you think, Kristina. Food is always top of mind during my visits to the Disneyland Resort and you will definitely want to power up before you get the party started for the evening. I visited the Disneyland site and looked at several table-service locations and noticed that most, if not all, have listed closing times before or right at the official start time of the bash. I found this to be curiouser and curiouser so I chatted with a Cast Member over the phone who shared that it is possible that all dining availability and plans are not quite set yet. They recommended keeping a watchful eye on the website and frequently checking for any announcements or updates.
Another option you can consider for table-service dining is looking for a reservation that is during the early party mix-in time. You will be able to enter Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 p.m. and will be able to make a dining reservation starting at this time.
I also did a quick check and peeked at some of the quick-service dining locations and noticed that not all of the times have been updated on the website. I was able to see the hours for some of the early party dates and saw that most of these locations will be operating during the bash. In fact, I remember having a late-night snack at
Flo's V8 Cafe when I attended Oogie Boogie Bash last year. That plate of fries dipped in ranch dip really hit the spot and balanced out all of the sweets that I had throughout the evening. A quick tip for you, if you take advantage of the early mix-in entry at 3:00 p.m., this is a great time to line up any
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering for the evening. This feature is especially popular during the party and you'll find that the pick-up time slots will fill up.
Overall, when it comes to dining during the bash, my recommendation is to keep checking the site or the
Disneyland app as things continue to be updated. It may just be that Loki, the God of Mischief himself, is wreaking havoc behind the scenes from another multiverse.
Kristina, while this might not be the answer you were looking for, I hope it has still been helpful. And we're always here to answer any other questions that you might have before your visit - so come back to see us. Until then, I wish you happy planning and happy haunting.
