We dined at Cinderellas Royal Table and prepaid the $200. If was just my daughter and I so our total was well below the deposit, including the tip. Will I be refunded the difference? If so how long does it usually take to get back?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Amanda. I always love to see a fellow North Carolinian stop by with questions. It brings a smile to my face. I'm waving hello from somewhere in our great state.

Amanda, Cinderella's Royal Table is a meal fit for a princess. You are going to have so much fun. Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the few Walt Disney World restaurants that require prepayment at the time of booking. This was not a deposit, Amanda but the total charges for your meal. The price you paid includes your meal, tax and an 18% gratuity fee. If you think there is a discrepancy with what you've been charged, please feel free to reach out to a Cast Member in the dining department at 407-WDW-DINE and they can go over those charges with you.

During your meal at Cinderella's Royal Table, you'll be treated to a delicious 3-course meal. My favorite appetizer is probably the steamed mussels. Continuing on to dinner, I highly recommend the tenderloin of beef and then to finish things off you can't go wrong with The Clock Strikes Twelve - Dark Chocolate Mousse with a Caramel and Crunchy Praline Center served with Chocolate Sauce and Hazelnut Gelato. Yum!

I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about your bill, Amanda. If you have more questions about this or anything else please feel free to reach back out to me and we can figure it out together.

    Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
