We would like to dine at 50's prime time cafe, but we are not interested in the "interactions" such as eat your veggies, no elbows on the table, etc. Is there a way to avoid this? Don't want to seem like a party pooper just trying to avoid any m

    Hi Nicole:

50's Prime Time Café, is known for American comfort food and fun service in a period setting.  The Cast  Members serving up the food and entertainment want you to have a magical time when dining.  Usually your server will play to your liking and react off of your party, so if you seem engaged, the server will likely react in kind.  When making your reservation and checking in, I would let the reservationist and host know that you would prefer to dine with minimal interaction with the server, and I would remind your server.  Disney is wonderful at accommodating Guests and their preferences.  Just be prepared that you will still likely see and hear servers interact with other tables with ribbing about table manners and ridiculous stories of distant relatives.

Enjoy your meal and your vacation.
