What if I want to dine at one park, but play at a different park during the day? Do I need a park hopper?

Hello Michelle! Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The simple answer to your question is yes. Most of the restaurants located inside the parks require you to have valid park admission, so you would need a Park Hopper if you are planning to enter more than one park in a day.

The one exception that I can think of off the top of my head is Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom. If you wanted to eat there you would not need a Park Hopper because it does not require park admission. If your goal is to avoid having to add on a Park Hopper, my suggestion would be to plan around where you want to enjoy meals. I sometimes do this when there are multiple dining locations in one area that I want to try out.

If you have any more questions I'd be happy to help.

    Have a magical day!
