If I dine at ohana for breakfast am I able to come back that night to watch fireworks? We want to see the characters for breakfast but also want to see the fireworks view

    Hi Krystyn,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited to hear you are planning to enjoy a Stitch-tastic breakfast at 'Ohana at one of my favorite Disney Resort hotels on property. There’s just something so magical about Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The views of Cinderella Castle from the beach, boat rides directly to Magic Kingdom Park, and the second-best fireworks views on property (soundtrack included), because nothing beats being immersed in the projections and storytelling right on Main Street, U.S.A. inside Magic Kingdom Park… but this is a very close second and such a dreamy, relaxed way to take it all in.

Krystyn, to answer your question, you absolutely can return later in the evening to enjoy the resort and find a spot to watch the fireworks. Guests are welcome to visit Disney Resort hotels, and the Polynesian is a fun one to explore in the evening. Grabbing a DOLE Whip, walking the grounds, and heading out toward the beach area for Happily Ever After is one of my favorite low-key, magical ways to end the night!

That said, there are a couple of important caveats to keep in mind. During especially busy times of year, access to the beach area may be limited to Guests staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re visiting during peak seasons or holidays.

Also, if you’re planning to drive over, parking is typically reserved for Guests with a dining reservation or those staying at the resort. Because your reservation is earlier in the day, you might be turned away in the evening due to the three-hour courtesy dining parking allowance. However, you are welcome to use Disney transportation to get to and from the resort, so parking isn't an issue.

So yes, your plan is definitely doable… just go in with a little flexibility depending on crowds and logistics. And if it all lines up, watching Disney fireworks from that beach with the music playing in the background? Pure Disney magic.

Thanks again for popping by and allowing us to help make your visit extra magical! If you have any more questions, please be sure to come back and see us.

See ya real soon, and don’t forget to reach out and find your happily ever after!
