Hello Patty, and welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy to help you with a dining question. Like the 101 Dalmatians, a
Walt Disney World restaurant really
hits the spot! Food just seems to taste better in The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Patty, to dine in Magic Kingdom Park, you do need to have a theme park ticket. I know that wasn't the answer you were looking for, but my job as a planDisney panelist isn't to give you a plain
black-and-white answer. I happen to have a little pixie dust that we can sprinkle on this question because there are some absolutely magical restaurants in Walt Disney World that I'm happy to tell you require no theme park admission!
You are more than welcome to make a reservation to dine at a Disney Resort hotel. You don't even have to be a registered Guest. Here, you'll need no theme park admission, and you can still enjoy all the same magic as you find in the parks. You can dine with Mickey himself at
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or have a meal with royalty when Cinderella and Tiana greet Guests at
1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian. Simply reserve a dining time at one of the Resort hotels 60 days in advance and enjoy the fun!
Also, with unique restaurants like
T-REX, Summer House on the Lake, and
D-Luxe Burger,
Disney Springs has the perfect
spot with no theme park ticket required.
Patty, I've been visiting Walt Disney World for over three decades and still haven't dined at every restaurant. The Most Magical Place on Earth has dining options that seem limitless. I hope you'll find the perfect location! Reach out to us here at planDisney anytime. We LOVE our Disney foods and are happy to help you find the ideal place for an enchanting meal.
Enjoy the magic!
