Can you dine at a Disney Resort Restaurant without park tickets? Our tickets start Friday and we would like to dine Thursday night.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Ashley! Let’s talk Walt Disney World food, one of my favorite topics!

Some of the BEST food at Walt Disney World is at the resort restaurants, your hardest decision will be which one to choose! You can absolutely head to any resort restaurant to have dinner the night before your park tickets begin.

So, let’s give you some of my favorites. Looking for an elegant meal? Narcoosee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a fabulous view of Cinderella Castle all lit up at night plus amazing food. The best meal I have ever had at Walt Disney World was at Narcoosee’s. There is a dress code, which can be seen here

Another fabulous meal I had recently was at Steakhouse 71, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This restaurant had wonderful steaks (of course) at reasonable prices. The Steakhouse 71 Chocolate Cake for dessert was delightful, and the photographs of Walt Disney World from 1971 were so fun to see. This restaurant also has a more casual atmosphere.

Do you like fish? Olivia’s Café at Disney’s Old Key West Resort serves a catch of the day that has never disappointed us. Also on the menu is a Caesar Salad with shrimp that I could literally eat every day. The prices here are surprisingly reasonable, too, making it one of my top choices on every WDW vacation.

I could go on and on about the amazing food at the WDW resorts. Be sure to do your research so that you have a delicious meal to start your trip off on a high note.

    Happy Traveling (& eating),
