Can we dine at Chef Mickey's without a reservation?? Do they accept any walk ins??

    Hi Brandi!
In a word, "yes", to both questions. Although advance dining reservations are highly recommended for most, if not all, meals, (particularly character meals), they are not required. For my most recent trip in December, I was able to walk in to both Chef Mickey's and the Wave at the Contemporary Resort. Cast Members at the concierge desk were unable to secure me a reservation, so I went up and spoke with the hostess at Chef Mickey's. I told her we were early risers, and asked what my chances would be for a walk-in the next morning at 7AM (which is the first wave of seating). She said, "your chances are about 97%". We both laughed, and I hit the line with my newspaper at 6:50 AM and got in the very next morning with my party of 6. This strategy may not work for a later breakfast time or for dinner, but the point is that it's always possible. I recommend breakfast over dinner at Chef Mickey's anyway, but if your'e going to try to dine without a reservation, at least at Chef Mickey's, plan to arrive early. I hope this helps a bit and I wish you a magical vacation!! :)
