Welcome to planDisney, Marshall! I'm so excited to answer your question today. Dining at lounges is my absolute favorite thing to do at Walt Disney World. I have a trip planned right around the same time as you, and pretty much all my dining plans are at my favorite lounges! With that in mind, I'm happy to chat with you about transportation and parking when you're dining at a location that does not take reservations.
Resort parking lots are primarily reserved for guests with either a confirmed dining reservation at that resort or a stay booked there. If you arrive to dine without a reservation, parking becomes subject to availability at the discretion of Security. On busy evenings, especially around
EPCOT-area resorts like
Yacht Club, it's possible that you may be turned away. It's very much a "your mileage may vary" situation, and it's important to know that there's a chance that you make the drive only to find that the lot is full.
Since you're staying at
Bay Lake Tower, you've got an easy transportation Plan B, which I'd honestly consider making Plan A. Walk a few minutes to the
Magic Kingdom bus loop and hop on a direct Disney bus to either
Coronado Springs for
Three Bridges Bar and Grill or Yacht Club for
Crew's Cup. After your dinner, ride a bus back to Magic Kingdom and stroll home to Bay Lake Tower. It's simple, stress-free, and you avoid the parking uncertainty altogether.
A couple of pro tips: Three Bridges uses the
Mobile Dining Walk-Up List, so jump on it in the app once you get close enough. If you end up driving, arrive early and have a backup plan in mind in case the lots are at capacity. If you arrive and find parking to be full, I recommend re-routing to
Disney Springs to park and take a bus to your chosen resort.
I hope this answers your question, Marshall, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
