Dilemma. Going to MVMCP Nov 21, didn't want to use an additional park ticket that day but the only res I could get for BOG was at 4:10. Will they let us in a little early since we have a dinner res, or am I going to have to add another day to my ticket? TY

    Hi, Amy!

So I am going to give you the "official" answer then I will give you the "my experience" answer!

"Officially" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is from 7pm - midnight with a special ticket required for entry.

However, in "my experience" I have always been able to gain entry to the park anytime after 4pm.  Usually, cast members direct guests with party tickets to head to the turnstiles to the right side where you will present your ticket and you will be given a party wristband then allowed to enter.

So what to do? I would stop by your Resort Concierge the day before and explain your situation and see what is suggested.  This way, you have the option to either cancel your dining reservation 24 hours prior, or you can choose to add on a day of tickets (which may be minimal depending on how many days you already have on your ticket).

I have been going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for 19 years, and never had a problem with the 4pm entry, but I do need to give you the "official" party hours of 7pm - midnight.  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
