Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kira. It's my pleasure to answer a question for a fellow Pennsylvanian!
I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort with a little one in tow. You're sure to have a magical time!
Disney's Rider Switch is such a convenient service for families. We have a tiny princess who is just
too tiny for our favorite
thrill attractions, so my family used the new digital Rider Switch system several times during our last stay. Mom, dad, and the big kids all got a chance to ride, and we managed to save some precious time in the theme parks too! If you use a
FastPass+ for a rollercoaster while your husband uses a FastPass+ to ride a
family-friendly attraction with your daughter, he shouldn't have any trouble then using his Rider Switch entitlement to enter the FastPass+ line for the rollercoaster you had been riding. When your family requests the Rider Switch service, the Waiting Adult will be issued a Rider Switch entitlement on their MagicBand or card. The Rider Switch entitlement will be listed on the
My Disney Experience mobile app as "an extra FastPass+ experience." The entitlement will not replace other existing FastPass+ experiences on the account. How great is that?
Thanks for stopping by, Kira. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
