Welcome to planDisney, Katrina!
There’s something so special about staying at a Disney Resort hotel. From the moment you arrive, you’re not just checking in, you’re stepping into the story—
your story! Whether you're waking up to savanna views at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, splashing down the massive waterslide at
Disney’s Beach Club Resort, or hopping on the monorail at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, there’s just nothing like being immersed in the magic from sunrise to bedtime. Plus,
benefits like Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary transportation make it that much easier to pack in every moment.
Katrina, you can absolutely use a Disney Gift Card to pay your room-only balance when you check in at your resort. Just let the Cast Member at the front desk know that you’d like to apply a gift card toward your remaining balance. You can either present the physical card or read off the digital gift card number if you have it saved on your phone. If your gift card doesn’t cover the full balance, you can pay the rest with another accepted payment method, like a credit card or another gift card.
If you’d rather take care of it ahead of time, you can also pay your balance online through your
My Disney Experience account. Just log in, navigate to “My Plans,” find your resort reservation, and select the option to make a payment. You’ll be able to enter your Disney Gift Card number during checkout. Whether you pay at the front desk or online, it’s a smooth and flexible process.
Here’s a helpful tip: if you’re bringing multiple Disney Gift Cards, you can combine them into one card—up to $1,000—at
DisneyGiftCard.com. This makes things a lot easier at check-in and throughout your stay, especially if you plan to use gift cards for dining, souvenirs, or adding charges to your room. I like to keep one main gift card loaded and ready to go in my phone’s digital wallet for quick access.
I hope that's helpful, Katrina. Thanks so much for choosing to be our Guest.
