    I have difficulty walking on occasions. Are there motorized chairs available at the resorts and parks for lease. If not at the resort, how can I make arrangements to have one if I need one.

    Hi Mary.  Thank you for visiting the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!  For the convenience of Guests with disabilities, wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV) are available for rent at a variety of locations throughout the theme parks and the Downtown Disney Area.  A limited supply of wheelchairs is also available for Guests use at select Disney Resort hotel locations; however, ECVs are not available.  Be sure to ask for the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.

    The rental fee(s) for the ECV is $50.00 USD per day plus a $20.00 USD refundable security deposit at the theme parks.  You can also rent an ECV at Downtown Disney for $50.00 USD per day plus a $100.00 USD refundable security deposit. Please be mindful that rented units must be returned to the original rental location to receive a security deposit refund.
