How difficult is it to do a walk-in for a sit down dinner for 2 adults & 2 kids? We booked our Disney trip late and are having a hard time finding open reservations for dinner.

    Hi Chad!

You didn't write when you are going, but it can be impossible during the busy times of the year.  When the parks are moderately busy, it's possible but you might hear a lot of "sorry, we're not accepting any walk ups" and you might have to wait a long time before you get in.  During slower times of the year, it's not an issue except for the most popular restaurants.

However, that's the general guidance for the parks.  In the resort hotels, it is much easier to get into the restaurants without a reservation except for the very popular Table Service restaurants.

That said, I do suggest making some "backup reservations" in case you can't walk up to the restaurants you want to get into.  Just be sure to call and cancel your reservations that day if you're not going to use them so other guests can get in!

    Good luck!
