Hey there, Douglas! Welcome to planDisney – it's fantastic to have you here!
I'm a fellow Florida resident who loves sailing from
Port Canaveral. I’m happy to share my experiences with you so you can determine what you might need to make your cruise experience as comfortable as possible.
When you complete the online check-in before you set sail, you will select a Port Arrival Time. This is the time you should arrive at the terminal. The times are staggered to help minimize crowds. If you find waiting in line difficult, select a later time. You’ll have a minimal wait and will be able to board the ship quickly.
Before you enter the parking garage, you’ll drop off your checked luggage for transport onto the ship. If you need accessible parking, the garage and the parking lot are available. The terminal is adjacent to the garage, and there are elevators and escalators available in the terminal.
For a
closed-loop sailing aboard the Disney Wish, U.S. citizens can travel with an original or copy of a state-issued birth certificate and a government-issued photo ID. Children fifteen years of age and younger are not required to show a photo ID.
One of the best things about a Disney Cruise is the flexibility it offers. Whether you're in full-on adventure mode or prefer a more leisurely pace, there's something for everyone onboard. Please reach out to
Disney Cruise Line Special Services to talk about any specific needs you may have. Whether it's dietary requirements, mobility assistance, or accommodations for Guests with disabilities, their dedicated team is there to ensure everyone has a magical experience.
I hope this answers your questions. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your memorable vacation with Captains Mickey and Minnie!
SEAS the adventure!
