Would it be difficult to leave MK for Chef Mickeys' dinner and then return to MK for Wishes in the same day? We will not be staying at a WDW resort. I had grand plans for a final character dinner and watching Wishes on our last night. (Trip dates in Nov.)

    Hi Anna!

Your grand plans are wonderful!  I think that you have the perfect last day planned - don't you wish that everyone realized how awesome you are???  To ensure that you don't miss Wishes, be sure to make your Advanced Dining Reservation for an early seating at Chef Mickey's.  Just call 1-407-WDW-DINE 90 days before your special day and the Disney folks will do their best to make it happen.

On your final day (Boo-Hoo!) just hop on the monorail from the Magic Kingdom and head over to the Contemporary Resort, home to Chef Mickey's Buffet.  After you stuff yourself silly, board the monorail and sail back to the Magic Kingdom for the best fireworks ever.  Your plans are perfectly reasonable and it makes no difference whether you are staying on or off property.

Have a magical time and take tons of pictures at Chef Mickey's!
