How difficult is it to add people to advance dining reservations, once they're made? Thank you!

    Hi Heather!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

It can be very difficult to officially add them depending on the restaurant, how close you are to the dining date, your flexibility on dining time, etc.

My recommendation is if you are only going to be adding 1 or 2 guests, then I would just leave the reservation as is and just show up with the extra guests.  Explain the situation to the Disney Cast Member at the restaurant podium and you should be okay.  However, I don't suggest trying that at any of the dinner shows such as the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue or the Spirit of Aloha.

Generally speaking, Disney will try to work with you to accommodate your needs.  If you have to add a large number of guests, then I suggest making a new dining reservation and then canceling your old one.  But if you can't get a new one, then I would try to just "show up" with the extra guests as described above.  Just know that it might be hard to accommodate the extra guests, depending on how busy the restaurant really is on the day you visit.

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
