What are the different tiers for Fast Pass+? What is the difference?

Hi Brian! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I bet you are getting more excited each day as your Walt Disney World Resort visit approaches! Your vacation is almost here. Yay! I know you will have a great trip.

FastPass+ is a complimentary benefit that is included with your valid Walt Disney World theme park tickets. It is a huge time-saver! Each Guest receives three initial FastPass+ selections per person, per day. After those three are used, more FastPass+ can be selected (one at a time, subject to availability) throughout the day by visiting a FastPass+ kiosk in the theme parks or via the My Disney Experience mobile app.

You'll find Tier 1 and Tier 2 attractions in Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom Park's FastPass+ are currently all in the same tier. When making your initial three selections, you may choose one attraction from Tier 1 and two from Tier 2, or all three in Tier 2. Typically, Tier 1 is made up of more popular attractions and having two tiers helps even out the attractions that are chosen for FastPass+, giving more Guests the opportunity to enjoy the popular attractions using FastPass+.

I hope this helps, Brian! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
