Is there different pricing for character dining for a 2 1/2 year-old compared to an older kid? We're doing Disneyland Ariel's grotto. Thanks!

    Hi, Nicole!

When dining at Ariel's Grotto, little Mouseketeers under the age of 3 can either share off their parent's plate at no additional charge, or can order a kids meal at menu price. I know that by the time my kids were 2 1/2 they enjoyed having their own plate and food, but it is up to you. Kids meals are priced and available for guests age 3-9.

I suggest you make dining reservations for this fun dining location. Make sure to include all members of your travel party, even guests under the age of 3 to ensure you have a proper sized table. Reservations can be made online or by calling (714)781-DINE. Remember that character dining is only available during breakfast and lunch at this location.

Wishing you a magical dining experience during your visit to Disney California Adventure Park and say "HI" to Ariel for me!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
