Can we have 2 different people logged into the same MDE account making fastpasses at the same time, or would we need to be logged into 2 different accounts to be able to book at the same time?

    Hi there, Chrissy!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You must be so excited to visit Walt Disney World Resort. I love that before you even get there, you are able to experience a little bit of planning Magic using your My Disney Experience account.

When it comes to booking your FastPass+ reservations you are able to do so 60 days prior to your arrival, if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. How neat is that? Otherwise, you can begin making those reservations 30 days before you arrive. The way I scheduled my family’s FastPass+ reservations and dining reservations is by having myself be the account manager. Since you cannot have two people logged into the same account, it’s better to have one “master planner”. This master planner is usually me since no one else in my family has their own personal account. I just group everyone, who will be present and has a valid theme park ticket, and make our needed reservations.

You are still able to make plans alongside a friend or family if they have their own account and want to help in the planning process. My dad and I do this all the time when he travels with us! First, you will want to link the two accounts that will be planning together by creating your Family & Friends List. Find the Family or Friend you are wanting to connect with, and “invite” them to join you, it’s very similar to a social media friend request. Once the request has been sent and approved, the two accounts will be able to work together to make plans! When I plan with my dad, I usually take care of the dining reservations, and he covers the FastPass+ reservations. We also try to plan for different days, if we are both planning at the same time to avoid confusion in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. I usually plan Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Park days and he’s got Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Teamwork usually helps us successfully plan and reserve our “must-dos”, especially since one person isn’t having to reserve it all.

    Have a Magical Trip!
