Hi Heather!
Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by! Your
Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it! With everything that goes into the planning process, let's jump right into your question!
Choosing how many park days for each Guest in your party will depend on a few factors. If you are pairing your park tickets with your Disney Resorts Hotel reservation to form a vacation package, each Guest will be required to have the same amount of park days. However, if you are purchasing a
stand-alone ticket package, you can certainly purchase 4-day tickets for you and your daughter while buying 3-day tickets for your husband and son. By going this route, you will be required to pay for your tickets in full at the time of purchase and they will be nonrefundable and nontransferable. When purchasing them as part of a vacation package, you are only required to put down a deposit and pay off the balance 30 days before your arrival. You can also modify and cancel your package free of charge up to 30 days in advance of your stay. You'll have a bit more flexibility when booking this way.
Once you have made a decision and have purchased your tickets, you'll need to make
theme park reservations for the parks you want to visit on select days. Park reservations are required along with a valid park ticket for entry each day. You can make reservations using your My Disney Experience account and can modify them at any time leading up to your stay, as long as there is availability.
Heather, you'll be visiting Walt Disney World at an amazing time. Not only will EPCOT be hosting the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, but
TRON Lightcycle / Run will have recently opened at the Magic Kingdom. You have countless experiences to look forward to!
Have a magical vacation, Heather!
See ya real soon!
