How different is the merchandise at the World of Disney store from the merchandise at the DisneyStore online? Looking to get ahead on my Christmas shopping, but I'm wondering if I should wait until our trip in mid-December. Thank you!!

What a great question!  The World of Disney is amazing to visit, even if you aren't going to buy anything. It is filled with a lot of merchandise that is unique to Walt Disney World.  Similarly, the DisneyStore online also has merchandise that is unique as well.  However, there is an overlap where you can purchase items from the theme parks. If you click here, you can take a look at some of those items. One thing that is nice about ordering online is that there are often promotions that offer free shipping and/or discounts.  And of course, they don't take up space in your luggage!

So if I were in your shoes, if you see something you'd like at www.disneystore.com, I'd order away -- but I'd also keep an open mind for additional shopping during your trip.

By the way, you are visiting when Walt Disney World is truly transformed into amazing holiday magic.  Enjoy!
