what will be the different to do disney dream sailing from fll the 3 night or 4 night? what will be the best? what are the different or extra activities to do from a 3 nigh to 4 night?

    Hiya, Natalia!

I'm afraid I may be a bit biased on this topic. My family and I are currently onboard the Disney Wonder, sailing from Honolulu, Hawaii to Vancouver, British Columbia. It's a 10-night sailing. In other words, our philosophy for selecting cruise itineraries is "the longer the cruise the better!" But if this happens to be your first cruise, I actually agree that a 3-night or 4-night cruise on the Disney Dream would be a great way to dip your toes into the crystal clear waters of a Disney cruise vacation. And it turns out that my family's next cruise happens to be a 3-night itinerary on the Disney Dream.

Looking over the upcoming Disney Dream sailings, I see that there are actually about seven different 3-night and 4-night itineraries embarking from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They vary not only by the number of nights but also by which ports they visit and which order of visits to those ports. Other than the number of nights and the port destinations, the onboard activities may vary somewhat between itineraries. Though, the differences between 3-night and 4-night itineraries are likely to be more along the lines of frequency and quantity of experiences. For example, there will be more opportunities to meet your favorite Disney characters on a longer cruise. And longer itineraries may offer a wider variety of trivia and other games. What will likely be the same across itineraries are the major Broadway-style shows presented in the Walt Disney Theatre. On the Dream, that typically includes Beauty and the Beast, Disney's Believe, and, my favorite, The Golden Mickeys.

Natalia, as I said earlier, my family prefers longer itineraries. That said, we still booked our 3-night cruise on the Dream over longer options. Here are some of our criteria for deciding which Disney Cruise Line sailing to book.

    1. Choose dates that work with your personal vacation schedule. (Any Disney cruise is better than no cruise at all!)
    2. Choose a ship that is interesting to you.
    3. Choose an embarkation port that is accessible to you. (Fort Lauderdale is a great choice for you and other Floridians.)
    4. Choose destination ports that capture your imagination. (We chose our Disney Dream itinerary because it stops at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.)
    5. Choose an itinerary that features activities of interest to you. For example, you may choose from Halloween on the High Seas, Very Merrytime Cruises, Marvel Day at Sea, and more.

Again, we love longer itineraries, which often feature unique activities not available on shorter itineraries. For example, the 10-night sailing my family is on now has featured shows by a variety of guest entertainers and presenters, including a magician, a stunt performer, Broadway artists, a celebrity chef, and retired Disney Cast Members with great stories to tell from their careers. In short, the more nights on your cruise itinerary, the more opportunities you may have to experience a wider variety of guest performers and experiences.

Good luck in choosing your Disney Dream itinerary, Natalia. If you would like any more recommendations, please feel free to ask additional questions to us here at planDisney.

    Have a mágica cruise, Natalia!
