Enchanté, Michael!
Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for returning with another delectable
Walt Disney World Resort dining question. It sounds like you're preparing for a splendid stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of months. As your 60-day dining window is about to open, let's run down the process for booking
dining reservations for your upcoming visit!
Michael, as my panelist pal,
Alison, recently informed you, Guests may make dining reservations up to 60 days before their scheduled check-in for the length of their stay, up to 10 days. However, it's important to note that, since your travel party's Disney Resort hotel check-in dates occur across several different days, you'll each have separate 60-day windows. Since you'll be the first of your group to check in, you'll have the advantage of being able to score those highly-coveted
dining reservations for your group before the rest of your travel party can access those bookings! Michael, I'm happy to inform you that you'll be able to make dining reservations for your entire party. Also, you don't need to define which Guests will be on a dining reservation at the time of booking. In fact, I rarely include the names of other Guests on any Walt Disney World Resort dining reservation. Skipping these additional details allows me to make bookings more quickly because sometimes fast fingers are key for those extremely popular locations!
Dining reservations become available at 6:00 a.m. ET, Michael - that's 11:00 a.m. GMT, so be sure to set your alarm. I like to set an alarm on my phone for five minutes before booking opens to ensure I've signed into my My Disney Experience account and am on the dining page ready to search for availability! It's likely you'll have better success scoring more popular dining experiences for dates later into your stay, as fewer Guests will have had the chance to book those reservations yet. Therefore, if you're hoping to enjoy any of the more highly-prized bookings (like Space 220 Restaurant,
Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella's Royal Table,
'Ohana, or Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera) during your vacation, I recommend planning those for dates later in your stay for the best availability!
Michael, I hope you've found these suggestions helpful and I wish you a most magical stay filled with many marvelous meals. If you have any other questions ahead of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please feel free to revisit us at
planDisney anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your meals at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Bon appétit,
Lauren
