What are the differences in the preferred room at POP vs standard room?  Is it worth  the extra money?

Hi, Christy!    The difference between a standard vs. preferred room is LOCATION!   Preferred rooms will be located closer to Classic Hall, home to the food court, registration area, main pool, gift shop and bus stop.    Standard rooms will have a slightly longer walk from the hub of it all.

I have stayed in both standard and preferred rooms, and the extra minute or 2 of walking never bothered me, but if you don't want to walk one extra step after a long day in the parks, go for the preferred rooms.    Also, if you have a car and will be driving to the parks, you might actually want the standard rooms to put you closer to the parking lot and your car!

Except for the room location, all rooms will be the same:   approximately 260 square feet, 1 sink in the bathroom area, and 2 double beds.    No matter if you choose the standard or preferred, I hope you enjoy your stay at Pop Century!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
