Hi Meghan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
All of the resorts that you mentioned are great resorts. Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter is my family’s favorite moderate resort. I love all that it has to offer, the quaint feeling that it offers, and the fact that it doesn’t seem so large that it overwhelms you.
With that being said when we travel to the Walt Disney World Resort, our family usually chooses to stay at the value resorts. To us even though they are much less expensive than the other resorts, they don’t feel like they are. When it comes to family travel we are always traveling on a budget. We want to have the best possible experience without breaking the bank. I want to make sure that we have plenty left over to treat our children to souvenirs, special experiences, or an extra Mickey Ice Cream bar or bucket of popcorn!
Now when comparing Disney’s All – Star Music Resort Family Suites to
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, I wouldn’t even think twice about spending a little extra money to stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. It is new, modern, and has a lot of space for a family of five, and the themes are just fantastic in my opinion. Art of Animation will transport you to some of the most loved Disney Pixar movies. The family suites include a private bedroom with one queen-sized bed, one double-size sleeper sofa, one double-size convertible TableBed, a living room, kitchenette area, and 2 bathrooms. In my opinion Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is an incredibly family resort hotel. It looks cheerful and inviting. The pool, dining areas, and guest rooms make my family feel like we are staying at a high-end resort. We truly do not notice that it is a “value.”
I hope that you have a pixie dusted family vacation! Have the time of your lives!
