Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Are there any differences between the activities in the parks week days or weekends? Does every park has the same program everyday or does it change from day to day? Are there fireworks everyday?

Hi David! Welcome to planDisney! Your question is the sign of an excellent planner!

The Walt Disney World Resort operates 365 days per year! Each day is full of special magic planned by the Cast Members! For the most part, Guests can expect to find the same special magic every day of the week! There may be occasional changes in operational procedures, but you can usually find those announcements on the website. Additionally, some programs and shows are presented on different days of the week or during different times throughout the day. For example, A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King hosts shows several times per day. Those times are listed on the website. Those times may change occasionally, so it is always best to check the website as you make your plans to see specific shows or programs in the Disney Parks.

David, you asked specifically about fireworks! At the present time, fireworks shows are not being presented, but planning and work appear to be going on in some of the parks which would indicate an eventual return to firework shows! There have not been any official announcements, but we are all excited for the skies over the Walt Disney World Resort to be lit up once again! Similar to programs and shows, specific fireworks shows get their own listing on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Once firework shows return, they will have a separate listing of daily showtimes on the page of each park that hosts firework shows! These parks usually include EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park!

Another helpful place to find the most up-to-date showtimes is on your Disney Resort Hotel television! There is a special channel dedicated to running Disney Parks hours and showtimes! This channel runs 24-hours per day and is very helpful with providing Guests with all the goings-on at their resort hotel and in the parks!
