Hi there Joy,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm thrilled to see that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort for later this year.
When it comes to 1-day theme park tickets, you're correct that they follow a tier-based system depending on the date and anticipated crowd levels for the day. The tiers vary from 0 to 6 with lower tiers having more blockout dates. Therefore, a Tier 0 ticket is much more restricted in terms of the dates available to use the ticket for a visit compared to a Tier 5 ticket.
In fact, if you're planning on visiting on November 11, it looks like you would need at least a Tier 5 ticket to visit on that day as the lower tiers are blocked out for that date. You can see a full breakdown of each tier's blockout dates on the
Help with Tickets page of the Disneyland Resort website.
I like to
purchase tickets directly through the Disneyland Resort website to help with some of these logistics. When you indicate on the ticket purchase page that you'd like a 1-day ticket, it will present you with a calendar where you can select the date you plan to visit. From there, it will automatically assign you the correct tier level so you don't need to worry about it. It also conveniently offers the ability to add extra features like the
Park Hopper option,
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and a
Parking Voucher if needed.
Thanks again for your question, Joy! I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
