What is the difference between staying at Disney value/ moderate resort and Disney Springs hotel?

    Hi, Katrina!

When deciding between a Value and Moderate Resorts, the biggest difference will be the price. Value Resort Rooms will be less expensive than Moderates. Here are some characteristics of each level:

    VALUE amenities and features:
-Rooms are about 260 square feet
    -Rooms have 2 double beds
    -Quick Service service dining

    MODERATE amenities and features:
-Rooms are about 314 square feet
    -Rooms have 2 queen beds
    -Mini-fridge and coffee maker
-Quick Service and Table Service restaurant (Riverside shares its restaurant with French Quarter)
-Pool slides, hot tub and pool side towel service
    -Upgraded room linens

There are exceptions to this if booking a Value Resort Family Suite. These rooms are about 520 square feet and may be more expensive than a standard Moderate Resort Room. Another exception will be at Disney's Pop Century which is currently refurbishing its rooms. The new rooms will have 1 queen bed and 1 double murphy bed which is a nice enhancement!

The best thing to do is choose a few resorts you like and look at all of their features and options. Remember that regardless of which resort or resort level you choose, all Disney Resort hotels offer complimentary Orlando Airport transportation via Disney's Magical Express, transportation around Disney property, complimentary MagicBands, and so much more! (**Disney Springs hotels are not Disney owned and will not have the same benefits and perks. Contact those hotels directly for more information on their services.)

Have fun choosing the perfect resort for you and your family!
