Hi! What is the difference between standard rooms and preferred rooms at Caribbean Resort?

    Hi Ann,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Are you getting ready for the best of both vacation styles — island life and theme park magic — with a stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World? The rooms designated as "Preferred Rooms" at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are located closer to the Resort's main amenities that include the Fuentes del Morro Feature Pool, Old Port Royale and Centertown Market. Other than its preferred location for convenient access and easy walkabaility to the main Resort area, a Preferred Room is essentially the same accommodation as a Standard Room.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is undergoing some amazing transformations, and I can't wait to visit again soon. I'm especially looking forward to spending some island time at the new Sebastian’s Bistro restaurant.

Ann, please visit again with any questions you have as you plan your island getaway.

Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
