    Hi Nicole and welcome to the Mom's Panel!

    The difference between a standard and preferred room is down to location. A preferred room will be situated in close proximity to the main amenities - lobby, food court and bus stops.

    We are currently staying at the All-Star Sports Resort which is located next to the All-Star Music and Movies Resorts and it takes approximately 15minutes using Disney's bus transportation to get to the Magic Kingdom.

    Buses run approximately every 20 minutes from the Resort to each of the parks as well as Downtown Disney
