What is the difference between the regular star wars meet and greet and the visa meet and greet? Is it the same characters? A whole different experience?

    Hi Paige,

I am so excited you asked about the new Star Wars Character Experiences at Disney's Hollywood Studios because that means I get to talk about one of my favorite topics!

This is an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan. Currently, you can Encounter Darth Vader at Star Wars Launch Bay or Meet Chewbacca during most times of day during your visit. You may also see other Star Wars characters on occasion so make sure to stay alert!

In addition, if you are a Disney Visa Cardholder, you will have access to the Star Wars Imperial Meet ‘N’ Greet, which is offered daily from 11am to 4pm at the Star Wars Launch Bay. Characters are subject to change, but when I was there just a few weeks ago, I had the chance to confront the Dark Lord himself, Darth Vader!

This experience includes a free photo download, courtesy of the Disney Visa Card from Chase. On the day I visited, there was little difference between the two experiences. And don't forget, character meets are just the beginning. Have a look at this helpful information for even more Star Wars Photo Ops.

Enjoying Star Wars at Walt Disney World Resort just keeps getting better and better. I know you will have a wonderful time on your upcoming visit, Paige.

Thanks for your question. May the Force be with you!
