Hi! What is the difference between a preferred room and a standard room at the All-Star resorts?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mickey. (And I just love your name!)

As they say in real estate: location, location location! The difference between the Standard rooms and Preferred rooms at the Value Resorts is location. Whether you are enjoying Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Pop Century Resort, Preferred Rooms will put you in closer proximity to the lobby and pool areas. You will find the amenities of these rooms are the same as the Standard Rooms, but they will offer you more convenient access to the dining and recreation activities at the resort.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to three little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
