Caribbean Beach Resort is already a MAGICAL place to stay, but understanding the difference between “preferred room” and “preferred location” can help you picture exactly what you booked. A preferred room is a specific room category, meaning the room itself is located in one of the preferred buildings, closest to the main hub, called Old Port Royale. These are typically in the Martinique or Barbados sections. A preferred location, however, means you booked a standard room in one of those closer-to-everything preferred villages, but your room itself is not labeled as a preferred room category. This puts you closer to dining, the main pool,
Skyliner access, and the heart of the resort’s activity, but with a slightly different room classification. The important thing is you will still be in one of the most convenient and desirable spots on the property. So rest easy (literally!) because you’re going to have a fantastic location for your stay!
And speaking of your stay…Caribbean Beach Resort is absolutely incredible. The pastel-colored villages make the whole place feel like an island getaway, and the main pool at Old Port Royale is one of the most fun and beautifully themed pools of any
Disney Moderate Resort. The Disney Skyliner gliding overhead gives the resort a peaceful, breezy feel, making transportation to
EPCOT and
Hollywood Studios both quick and scenic. Plus, the walking paths, calm lagoons, and shaded hammocks make it one of the most relaxing spots to come back to after a big park day. You’re going to love every moment of your Caribbean escape!
