Hi, Amy! Thanks for coming back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You really can’t go wrong with either of these two picturesque Resorts!
Disney`s Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter evokes the Antebellum Era and is the smallest of all Moderate Resorts, which can make it a little easier to get around.
Disney`s Port Orleans Riverside Resort happens to be my favorite Moderate Resort! We actually stayed there on our honeymoon! Although both resorts have a Quick Service Restaurant, only Riverside offers a Table Service option at
Boatwright’s Dining Hall. Another plus to Riverside is the family-friendly musical stylings of
YeHaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge. Riverside has two differently themed areas- Aligator Bayou and Magnolia Bend. In Magnolia Bend, you and your family can stay in enchanting
Royal Guest Rooms! If you are looking for the pull-down daybeds, Aligator Bayou section is where you can find them. Riverside tends to offer more variety of leisure activities, while French Quarter offers a more intimate atmosphere. You can also jump on a
ferryboat to take you to
Disney Springs from both Resorts for great food, entertainment, and shopping!
Have a magical day and happy planning!
Jen
