Hi, what is the difference between "photopass" and "memory maker" at Disney world? Thanks!

Hello Kerry and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question. I would be happy to explain the difference to you.

Disney’s PhotoPass® Service uses a team of hundreds of photographers all over the Walt Disney World Resort to capture your family’s most magical and memorable vacation moments. They will be happy to photograph you in front of some of the most iconic landmarks in the theme parks. They will also capture those unforgettable character greeting experiences that you will treasure forever. The PhotoPass system can also capture onboard ride experience photos and videos as well. When a PhotoPass photographer takes your photo, they will scan your MagicBand or PhotoPass card and your photos will be linked to your account.

Memory Maker is a product that you can purchase that allows you to download all of your wonderful vacation memories for one price. You can also crop, edit, add cool borders and stickers to your photos before you download them. This will allow you to print or share your photos at your leisure. I always order the archive DVD of my vacation memories as a backup to storing them on my computer. Memory Maker will give you access to your treasured memories for up to 30 days. At this time, if you purchase Memory Maker at least three days in advance of your arrival, you will save $30 off the regular price. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
