What is the difference between the PhotoPass CD and the Photo Gallery CD? I was checking out the website to pre-order, but it wasn't clear to me the differences. Thanks.

    Hi Sandra!

There are three different types of photo CDs that you can purchase from the PhotoPass website. Disney's PhotoPass CD is what you want to pre-order. This is the CD that will hold all of the photos taken by PhotoPass photographers in the parks. On this CD you will receive all of the original pictures and any copies that you have edited with borders and character signatures. I actually just received my PhotoPass CDs in the mail from our last vacation. We had about 300 original photos and I ended up with about 1,000 after editing. They came to me on three CDs which I can now use to print copies anywhere. No matter how many photos you end up with, you pay the same price so be sure to take advantage of any photographer you see to get the most photos possible!

Disney's Photo Gallery CD is a collection of professional photos taken in the parks and resorts. These photos include the fireworks shows, characters and shot of park icons without large crowds of people in the background. This would be a great CD to have if you're into scrapbooking because it would offer some really nice shots. This CD also includes a copyright release so you would have rights to print them anywhere at anytime. It is available for both Disney World and Disneyland.

The third option is a Personal Photo Archive CD. This is a CD of your personal photos which you've taken with your own camera and then uploaded to the PhotoPass website. The great thing about this CD is that you can add the same Disney borders to your own photos that are available with the PhotoPass ones.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your upcoming vacation and have fun filling your PhotoPass card with lots of pictures!
