What is the difference between Photo Pass and Memory Maker? We are bring our granddaughter for the first time and want some good pictures without having to worry about taking a bunch ourselves.

    Hi Julie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. We have traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with my parents several times, and we love looking at the photos of our kids having a blast with their grandparents and talking about all the fun we've had.

Disney PhotoPass Service provides photo opportunities throughout the Disney parks. You will find PhotoPass photographers in all the iconic locations, ready to take your photo. They will help you get the right pose and might even have you do something fun that will show up later in a Magic Shot. One time, the photographer had my daughter cup her hands and the rest of us make “shocked” faces. When the photo showed up later in our My Disney Experience app, Tinker Bell had magically appeared in her hands. We cherish that pixie-dusted photo!

Disney PhotoPass Service includes attraction photos and videos, and there are photographers at select dining experiences. There's also the PhotoPass Service Studio in Disney Springs, where you can have a Disney-themed photo shoot. These photos are all stored in your My Disney Experience account, and you have the option of purchasing them individually.

Memory Maker is a product you can purchase that provides unlimited downloads of all your PhotoPass photos. I love Memory Maker because it can be very time consuming to sort through the photos and decide which ones to purchase. With Memory Maker, the photos appear in My Disney Experience with no watermark, ready to download, text, or post to social media.

Julie, please visit us again if you have further questions! Wishing you a magical vacation,

    Robyn
