What is the difference between Photo Pass and Memory Maker?

Welcome back to planDisney, Lisa! Thanks so much for swinging by with your question today. Of all the souvenirs I have ever taken home from Walt Disney World Resort, photos with my friends and family are always my favorite. Disney PhotoPass combined with Memory Maker is a great way to get lots of pictures together as a family, and I'm happy to walk you through the difference between them.

Disney PhotoPass is the photography service at Walt Disney World Resort. You will see friendly Disney PhotoPass photographers stationed all around the Theme Parks ready to snap your photo with their camera or even with yours. They are always at iconic photo spots, like in front of Cinderella Castle or the Tree of Life as well as lots of other fun places you might not think of! Your My Disney Experience App actually has a map of all available PhotoPass stops around the Theme Parks, so be sure to check that out when you arrive. You can stop for as many of these picture opportunities as you want, and the photos will be uploaded to your My Disney Experience app to purchase and download individually. If you want access to all of the photos you've taken on your vacation, then Memory Maker is for you. With a one-time purchase, you can have unlimited downloads of all of your Disney PhotoPass photos for 45 days from the day they are taken. To recap: Disney PhotoPass Service takes your pictures and Memory Maker is one of your options to pay for them.

I hope this answers your question, Lisa, and be sure to let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
