What is the difference between Mickey's Check meals and the kids meals?

    Hi, Carrie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question. The Walt Disney World Resort has made a huge effort in recent years to offer healthier food options to its Guests and accommodate a variety of dietary needs. One example of this initiative is the introduction of Mickey Check, a program that makes it easier to identify nutritious options on kids’ menus at all of the Disney theme parks and resorts. Meal choices for kids that receive the official Mickey Check meet Disney Nutrition Guidelines that limit calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar. It’s a way to encourage youngsters to make healthier eating choices while still enjoying delicious food selections.

I hope this helps, Carrie, and that your family enjoys a perfectly pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
