What is the difference between Memory Maker and a Photopass?

    Hi Carey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Disney PhotoPass  is a fantastic way to capture your family's magical vacation memories and taking advantage of the service is easy.  Just find one of the hundreds of Disney PhotoPass photographers on property - they can be found everywhere from the character meeting spots to Main Street, U.S.A. - and have your photo snapped.  The first time you do this, just ask for a Disney PhotoPass Card from the photographer and then present the card each time after that.  There's absolutely no charge for this service during your vacation. Once you get home, just go online to the Disney PhotoPass site to view all your photos, customize them with borders and graphics, and order individual prints or downloads you'd like for your very own.

Memory Maker utilizes the Disney PhotoPass Service, but builds on it.  By purchasing Memory maker, you get digital copies of all of those magical vacation memories on your account.  It's completely digital, so you can view, download and share your photos just minutes after they're taken on your mobile device.  Once you're home, you'll then be able to download the digital files and have them printed in any way you prefer.  There's no limit to the number of photos or the number of times you can download them.  If you're interested in Memory Maker, the most affordable option is the advance purchase, which requires a 3-day waiting period before you can start adding photos.  You'll then have 45 days from when the photo was taken to download it off your account.

I hope that helps explain the two services, but if you have any other questions, just let us know.  We love to help!
