What is the difference between Max Pass and Fast Pass? We are only going to be there 2 days.

    I’m back, Elizabeth!

I’m so excited that you are planning on using the Disney FASTPASS and Disney MaxPass service! I’m a planner, and my husband does not wait in lines longer than 20 minutes, so these services are a must-do in our house!

The complimentary Disney FASTPASS gives you a time slot that serves as a reservation for an attraction. You show up to the ride or entertainment and look for the distribution kiosks. There will be a return time displayed on the sign. If that time works for your schedule, you insert your ticket into the machine and reserve your spot. Then, easy-peasy, you return during your designated time to skip the regular line! You can pick one selection at a time; they are subject to availability and only valid during the time you choose.

On the other hand, the MaxPass service is a fee-for-service pass. Currently, you pay $15 per day, per ticket to make FASTPASS selections from your phone! Once your Disney MaxPass is linked to your account, your daily plans are at your fingertips! The thing I love about it is that you can pick selections in both Parks. As soon as you scan your mobile barcode at Incredicoaster, go ahead and grab a spot for Matterhorn Bobsleds (which has been my favorite ride since I was 12!). Ooh, I almost forgot! Another fantastic benefit of Disney MaxPass is unlimited Disney PhotoPass photo downloads!

    Enjoy your planning!
