What is the difference between Magic Your Way ticket and a regular ticket?

    Hey Lisa-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad you asked this question. Understanding tickets can be confusing with all the options and lingo. Let me reveal the magic on the non-Florida resident tickets.

Your base ticket or regular ticket is called a Magic Your Way Ticket and it will allow you to enter and leave one theme park all day long. You may purchase three different types of base tickets. The first is a 1-day Magic Kingdom Park ticket. The second is a 1-day Ticket that will allow you to explore one of the following parks for one day: EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. 1-day Tickets are the most expensive per day base tickets. As you attend more days, using the third option, a 2-10 day base ticket, the cost per day goes down. Basically, the more days you explore and play the less expensive the tickets are per day. These multi-day tickets allow you to visit one of the four main theme parks per day. Magic Your Way tickets maybe upgraded with options such as Park Hopper and Water Parks Fun & More which will allow you to visit more than one theme park per day or take advantage of the water parks, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, two miniature golf locations and more. Tickets and any options purchased must be used within 14 days of first use or they will expire.

I hope this helps make planning your trip easier. Please let me know how I can help you in the future.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
