What is the difference between Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party and Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing? Both are showing as available on our desired date.

    Welcome BACK, Traci!

We absolutely love it when our long-time friends come back to ask their Disney Parks planning questions. Your questions not only help to plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, but these responses can be found by future guests who may be wondering about the same things. So thank you for helping us help others!

The only difference between the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing and the Magic Kingdom After Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace is the timing of when you'll get to satisfy your sweet tooth. With the first, you'll snack on delectable desserts and tasty treats at Tomorrowland Terrace before you move over to the Plaza Garden Viewing area to take in Magic Kingdom Park's nightly fireworks show 'Happily Ever After'. If you choose to partake in the After Party, you'll go to the same Plaza Garden Viewing area first to enjoy the show, and then you'll get to feast at the same Tomorrowland Terrace location as the first group.

Since the experiences are the same, just in reverse order of each other, I would personally pick the After party so I could enjoy a sweet ending to my Disney Day while letting the exiting traffic cool down a bit. Don't forget to check out the other Dessert Events found all across the World (well, the Walt Disney World) And we'll See You Real Soon!

I hope his helped, Traci, and please keep asking questions. We love hearing from you!
