what is the difference between the Magic Band 2.0 and the Magic Band +

    Good day, Shari!

A very warm welcome to planDisney!

I assume that you are familiar with a traditional MagicBand 2.0, so I will focus on MagicBand+. Firstly, each MagicBand+ comes with a charging device. The bands come fully charged, but you’ll want to recharge them nightly for the glows, pulses and haptic vibrations that happen at resort attractions, Disney100 statues and nighttime spectaculars. But, even when the bands are not charged, you can still use them at the main theme park entrances, at lightning lane entrances and with Disney PhotoPass Photographers. At the Disneyland Resort, these are the only uses for your MagicBand+. But, at Walt Disney World, they can also be used to open your resort room door and pay for food and merchandise at participating locations. Lastly, be sure to not only link your MagicBand+ to the Disneyland Mobile App, but also assign which tickets will use each MagicBand+.

I hope you enjoy a wonderful vacation at “The Happiest Place on Earth!” Please come back to planDisney more questions!
