Hi there, Lynsi! Welcome back to planDisney! It looks like you are just a few weeks away from your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. It's time to fire up the countdown calendar and pack up those Minnie ears!
While there is a price difference between the
tickets for adults and children, you won't find any further differences when it comes to enjoying all there is to experience at the
Disneyland Resort. Other than
some attractions having height requirements for safety, even the littlest Mouseketeers can enjoy every inch, spectacle, and moment of joy of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
You will love January at the Disneyland Resort. The holly jolly of the merry season will have just bid adieu, and Main Street, U.S.A. will have a brief reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the holiday crowd. While you will likely be able to enjoy a bit more wiggle room in those Lighting Lanes, I always recommend checking to see if any attractions will be closed for refurbishment during this time as it can be a period of renewal. Any attractions undergoing a refresh will be listed just under the
Park Hours on the Disneyland website, and I can see that "it's a small world" Holiday, Indiana Jones Adventure, and Tarzan's Treehouse are a few that will be closed during this time. While these are always subject to change, it's just something to consider when you are making your park day plans!
If you're looking to close out your night with a bit of Disney magic, both parks offer
nighttime entertainment with
World of Color performing at Disney Californian Adventure Park and
Mickey's Mix Magic projection show at Sleeping Beauty Castle. Both will leave you grinning from ear to ear!
Lynsi, please come back to see us here at
planDisney if you have any more questions. I'm sending a wish upon a star for a magical visit!
Never stop dreaming,
Tara
