Hi Linda!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Since the introduction of
My Disney Experience, making all our Walt Disney World plans and reservations, and keeping them all in one place has become so much easier!
When we link our Family & Friends together, it makes everything even more simple, especially if one person likes to be in control of organising everyone (I may be guilty of that myself!). When you look at your My Disney Experience account, you will see the list of everyone on your Disney Resort reservation, if you have added them. This is your primary group. Below that will be My Other Family & Friends that will list anyone else that you have added to your plans - so if you are meeting up with friends, and you wish to share your plans and make reservations that include them, you can do so.
It is very easy to add more names to your list, you just need to click on 'Add a Guest' where you will see three choices of how to invite them to connect, and if they are not already connected to another Guest on your list, and you do not know their reservation confirmation number, you can simply add their name to invite them to connect with you. Once you are all set up, in my opinion, the very best use of this is to enable
FastPass+ reservations to be made at the same time for everyone in your group. I have travelled to Walt Disney World with very large groups of friends, and by using Family & Friends we have all managed to secure FastPass+ reservations for the same time (or at least within the same one-hour time slot). It might be a little more challenging to organise that individually, especially for the most popular attractions.
Remember that FastPass+ selections can be made up to 60 days in advance (for Disney Resort hotel guests), by using your My Disney Experience account.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
